The whole of club life in one app
X RT 81 is a Round Table club in Aalborg — founded in 2007, around 15 active members who meet for regular meetings, social events and the annual men's trip. Like most volunteer associations, club life used to run on a mix of emails, spreadsheets and shared folders.

Today the whole of club life lives in one app — in every member's pocket.
From spreadsheets to one club app
The club used to be scattered: meeting invitations by email, sign-ups in spreadsheets, photos in a shared folder, accounts as email attachments. Four or five tools, no overview, and new information that easily disappeared in an email thread.
Now it is all gathered in one installable app (PWA) that works offline — built on the same broberg.ai components as the rest of the universe.
| Before | After |
|---|---|
| Meeting invitations by email | Meetings + sign-up + attendance in the app |
| Sign-ups in spreadsheets | Photo and media archive in one place |
| Photos in a shared folder | Searchable songbook |
| Accounts as email attachments | Messages + push notifications |
| No overview | Annual accounts with an auditor role |
| Information lost in email threads | Ask the club from ChatGPT/Claude |
Everything that is built in
Meetings and the annual programme. The whole year's meeting calendar, with creation, sign-up and attendance statistics. A member sees the next meeting — date, venue, theme, host — and answers the invitation directly in the app.
Photo and media archive. Photos from meetings and events, gathered in one place and always at hand.
Songbook. A searchable database of the club's songs — title, artist and lyrics.
Messages. Internal communication to everyone, to the board or to a single member — with push notifications for new meetings, messages and replies.
Annual accounts. Upload, approval and archive — with an independent auditor role. Transparent finances, available to the members.
Members and roles. Chair, board, auditor and member — each with the rights the role requires. Access is invite-only, and sign-in is by magic link, Apple or Google.
The club's data is connected as an MCP connector, so a member can ask ChatGPT, Claude or Mistral directly — "when is the next meeting?" — and get an answer from the club's own data without leaving the chat. An entirely ordinary association, talking to the world's leading AI models about its own meetings. (Read-only, secured by sign-in.)
The member experience, end to end
A new member gets an invite link → signs in with one tap → sees the next meeting and answers the invitation → looks at photos from the last meeting → finds a club song → sends a message to the board → checks the annual accounts. All on the phone, ready offline.
Why 6 months, one person
The whole platform — meetings, photo archive, songbook, messages, accounts, push, AI connector and secure sign-in — was built by one person in about six months, on one codebase (broberg.ai's lightweight stack). That is possible because the foundation was already in place: payments, mail, sign-in, media and AI are reusable components, not something to be built from scratch every time.
In numbers
- 10+ surfaces in one app
- ~15 active members
- 12+ meetings and events a year
- 2 years of history — meetings and photos
- 3 sign-in methods — magic link, Apple, Google
- 3 AI models connected — ChatGPT, Claude, Mistral (via MCP)
"We are a small club run by volunteers — none of us are IT people. Even so, we now have the whole of club life in one place: meetings, photos, songbook, messages and accounts, right in every member's pocket. No more spreadsheets and emails flying in every direction — and that makes it easier both to be a member and to run the club." — Joen Rosenmeier, chair, X RT 81, Aalborg
